About me
I am a native French speaker from the South of France and I have been living in Ireland for the last 10 years. I am married to an Irish guy and I am a mum of 2 girls so I experience on a daily basis the richness and also the challenge that language interaction and bilingualism bring into our lives.
I have been teaching French & French as a Second Language (FSL) both in France and in Ireland for 15 years. The majority of my teaching experience has been done in Ireland though and I have taught as a secondary school teacher (from 1st to 6th years) but also in primary & Montessori schools. I am experienced in marking written exam papers and the Leaving Cert Oral exam.
I am also a Secondary School registered teacher with the Irish Teaching Council.
In France, I studied French linguistics & literature, English linguistics, culture & literature, children’s French literature, child psychology and qualified with a Degree in French as a Second Language Teacher and in a MA in Intercultural Sciences of Education.
My teaching interests include:
- Language Learning Strategies

My books are sold on the Irish study center website www.mocks.ie and on the British study center website www.irevise.com
Because I love learning about Language Learning Strategies I share my tips & discoveries on twitter, facebook and pinterest.
I also write and record Podcasts in French about what is happening on the French scene, promoting the intercultural and human aspect that lies behind the linguistic and theoretical domains of learning a foreign language.
